Rachel loved watching birds in the woods. However, she was confined to the house because of a broken leg. She turned on the TV but nothing was interesting. She tried to read a book but it was not fun at all. All she could do was sit, look at her broken leg, and watch the clock. As she was listening to the dull tick-tock of the clock, her phone vibrated. It was a message with an audio file from her dad. As she opened it, a huge smile spread across her face. Her dad had sent a recording of a little wren's song ― her favorite bird song. Listening to the bright warm sounds lifted her spirits and made her day more pleasant.::Rachel은 숲에서 새를 보는 것을 아주 좋아했다. 그러나 그녀는 다리가 골절되어 집에 틀어박혀 있었다. 그녀는 TV를 켰지만 아무것도 재미있지 않았다. 그녀는 책을 읽으려 했지만, 전혀 재미있지 않았다. 그녀가 할 수 있는 일은 앉아서 골절된 다리를 바라보고 시계를 쳐다보는 것뿐이었다. 그녀가 시계의 둔탁한 똑딱거리는 소리를 듣고 있을 때 그녀의 전화기가 진동했다. 그것은 그녀의 아빠로부터 온 오디오 파일이 담긴 메시지였다. 그것을 열자 그녀의 얼굴에 커다란 미소가 번졌다. 그녀의 아빠는 그녀가 가장 좋아하는 새소리인 작은 굴뚝새 소리가 녹음된 것을 보냈다. 밝고 다정스러운 소리를 들으며 그녀는 기운이 북돋워졌고 하루가 더욱 즐거워졌다.
