I was going to a conference and my plane was delayed, so by the time I got to my hotel everyone I was supposed to meet had already left for the conference. I walked to the bus stop, but to my dismay the last shuttle to the convention center had already gone. I was at a loss as to what to do! Then a young man standing on the sidewalk said, "The convention center isn't very far. It's only four blocks." So I started walking. It wasn't long before the convention center appeared in front of my eyes. My heart slowly calmed down! Fortunately, I was just in time for the conference!::콘퍼런스에 가는 중인데 비행기가 연착되어, 내가 호텔에 도착했을 때에는 만나기로 한 모든 사람들이 이미 콘퍼런스에 참석하기 위해 떠나버렸다. 나는 버스 정류장까지 걸어갔지만, 당황스럽게도 컨벤션 센터로 가는 마지막 셔틀버스는 이미 가고 없었다. 나는 어떻게 해야 할지 막막했다! 그때, 보도에 서 있던 한 청년이 "컨벤션 센터는 그리 멀지 않습니다. 네 블록만 가면 됩니다"라고 말했다. 그래서 나는 걸어가기 시작했다. 얼마 지나지 않아 컨벤션 센터가 눈앞에 나타났다. 내 마음은 천천히 차분해졌다! 다행스럽게도 나는 콘퍼런스 시간에 딱 맞출 수 있었다!
