Your parents may be afraid that you will not spend your allowance wisely. You may make some foolish spending choices, but if you do, the decision to do so is your own and hopefully you will learn from your mistakes. Much of learning occurs through trial and error. Explain to your parents that money is something you will have to deal with for the rest of your life. It is better that you make your mistakes early on rather than later in life. Explain that you will have a family someday and you need to know how to manage your money. Not everything is taught at school!::여러분의 부모는 여러분이 용돈을 현명하게 쓰지 않을 것을 걱정할 수도 있다. 여러분이 돈을 쓰는 데 몇 가지 어리석은 선택을 할 수도 있지만, 만일 여러분이 그렇게 한다면 그 결정은 여러분 자신의 결정이고 바라건대 여러분은 자신의 실수로부터 배울 것이다. 배움의 많은 부분이 시행착오를 거쳐서 일어난다. 돈은 여러분이 평생 동안 처리해 나가야 할 어떤 것임을 여러분의 부모에게 설명해라. 삶에서 나중보다 이른 시기에 실수를 저지르는 것이 더 낫다. 여러분이 언젠가는 가정을 갖게 될 것이라는 것과, 자신의 돈을 관리하는 법을 알 필요가 있다는 것을 설명해라. 모든 것을 다 학교에서 가르쳐 주는 것은 아니다!
