Three teens slipped into their sleeping bags and zipped them up. A few hours later John woke up and was thirsty. Paul was still furiously snoring as he got up and went to find his water bottle in the dark. He stumbled on Bill's sleeping bag, but it didn't feel right to him. "Bill," he called quietly. No answer. John bent over to feel his friend in the sleeping bag, but he couldn't find him. He found the lantern and switched it on. Bill was not in his sleeping bag. "Paul," he called loudly. "It's not morning yet," Paul mumbled. Then he gradually sat up in his bag. "Where is he?" Paul asked. "I don't know. That's why we have to go look for him."
